I The Victor premieres new single, "Self Talk"

Atlanta’s positivity project I The Victor is back with dark and sparkly new single, “Self Talk.” Produced by Kevin Gates (The Ready Set, Never Shout Never), “Self Talk” captures a certain kind of darkness before rushing you into brighter thoughts with the pre-chorus lyric “self-therapy is a coffee machine and some good friends.”

The “band” is in fact a solo project masterminded by 20 year old tunesmith Rebecca Ramos. On the content of “Self Talk” she says, “my wish is that it could help someone the way it helped me… I was in the middle of a legitimate week-long panic, just losing to my own anxiety, and this song came from that place where I was trying to just say 'okay, it’s time to get better, self.'”

The single precedes I The Victor’s upcoming EP and a string of bigger shows for the band at the top of the year.

I The Victor will be playing one more show this year: Dec. 9th @ Swayze’s w/ Dear You – Marietta, GA

The song is available on iTunes now. You can find the I The Victor on Facebook, Twitter, SoundCloud and YouTube
