Ice Nine Kills have announced a partnership with Scream Comes Home, a Kickstarter campaign that wants to bring fans to the house Wes Craven’s classic slasher was filmed in.

It’s no secret that the band has a deep love for the horror genre, especially the band’s vocalist Spencer Charnas. The vocalist is a walking horror film encyclopedia that has shared his love of Craven’s slasher in past interviews with AP, saying:

“I really love the movie Scream. That’s absolutely one of my favorites. That was probably the first horror movie that I ever saw in theatres.”

Between the band’s love of horror and Charnas’ particular fondness of the Scream franchise, it makes perfect sense for the band to be involved in this once in a lifetime encounter.

The band’s vocalist announced the partnership in a Facebook video, where he mentioned that if the campaign is funded, fans will have the chance to visit the house from the original Scream series with the band.

What’s more? The campaign also features a special experience tier with the band, where INK fans can see them play an acoustic set in the garage of Stu’s house.

The event is set to take place the weekend before Halloween, which is set to be Oct. 27 – 28. You can find further information about the campaign here.
