After being robbed at their Los Angeles show at Hollywood’s Hotel Cafe, I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (IDKhow) took to social media to share their misfortune. However, the band’s equipment has since been returned.

Just days after filing a police report, IDKhow’s gear is finally back in the appropriate hands. Composed of Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman, the duo took to Instagram to share the good news, thanking everyone involved in the super-sleuthing process.

JUSTICE!!!,” Weekes says. “Thank you to the LAPD, TMZ and every person who helped track down the person who stole all our gear!”

While most of IDKhow’s gear was recovered, the band still lost a laptop, a backpack and an iPad. However, that seems relatively small in comparison to their beloved gear.

Originally, the band was missing a Fender 1981 Precision bass guitar, a peddle board, a laptop with new IDKhow tracks, an iPad, Weekes’ passport and all of his personal belongings.

On Oct. 17, the band tweeted that police had tracked down the folks who stole their equipment. IDKHow gave the culprits an ultimatum: either return the gear or get arrested.

According to Weekes, the hotel room had footage of the robbery. LAPD released an image of the suspect in hopes of being able to track down the gear, to which they were obviously successful.

We’re just glad everything seems to be going back to normal for the folks in IDKhow.

Additionally, the band will release their debut EP, 1981 Extended Play, next month. The six-track EP drops Nov. 9 via Fearless, and preorders are available now.

IDKhow is scheduled to be joining Super Whatevr, NG and De’Wayne Jackson in opening for WaterparksEntertainment tour this fall. You can check out a full list of dates below.
