You can now buy movie tickets on Instagram

Fandango and Instagram are partnering up to make it easier for users to buy movie tickets.

Instagram users can now access showtimes and buy movie tickets for more than 30,000 screens on the U.S. through Fandango's profile on the app.

A “Buy Tickets” button has been added to Fandango's Instagram profile, next to the already existing “Shop” button, from which users can access merchandise and ticketing offers.

“As millions of movie fans have gravitated to social media platforms to discover, share and engage with their favorite movie content, Fandango has been essential to that experience, offering ticketing capabilities and access to the most comprehensive network of U.S. theaters,” Fandango president Paul Yanover said, according to Deadline.

“We’re very excited to integrate ticketing into our Fandango Instagram, and look forward to working with our studio partners to help transform consumer passion into advance ticket purchases,” Yanover continued.
