Issues get funky in new video “Flexin” starring Farrah Moan of 'Drag Race'

Issues have dropped a video for their new song “Flexin” that shows that features a star from RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The video stars Farrah Moan, also known as former Myspace scene kid Cameron Ugh, from Drag Race and shows frontman Tyler Carter as an old man.

The new song is a pop-sounding funk track with a melody that is bound to get stuck in your head.

“I was burned out from writing the album,” Carter said about the track. “We had written and revised 30+ songs and I just had no juice. I wanted to goof around and have fun in my writing session, so I started freestyling about my current financial situation. When my band heard the song, they were amped. We made it Issues’ style and our team loved how fun and different this song was. It’s definitely the black sheep of our album.”

Carter also wrote on Twitter about the inspiration behind the track.

After the song dropped, Issues tweeted about people who are criticizing the song for straying away from the band’s traditional sound.

Y’all need to pop a molly or a have a shot of tequila and lighten up! Trying to have some fun a midst a very stressful two years of working. We are beyond stoked for this album, there’s a little for everyone here. Love you all! Thanks for the hype! Ps jk don’t do drugs,” the tweet read.
