Tyler Carter talks Issues album completion in emotional video

It’s been almost three years since Issues released their last album, Headspace, and they recently announced the band have finished recording their third full-length.

Skyler Acord made the announcement via the band’s Twitter account, posting “We finished our album yesterday, almost two years to the day from the first writing session. It (literally) almost killed us in more ways than one but good art comes from conflict. I can’t wait for you to hear what we went through, woven into the music we’re all so proud of.”

They later posted that a new single will be released “soon.”

Tyler Carter later posted a video to Instagram, revealing what it was like during the recording process and addressed Michael Bohn’s departure.

“There’s something so different about listening to a product that you know you can’t change,” Carter says. “It’s already been turned in, so it’s like I know this is it.”

You can check out the full video below.

The album’s title and release date have yet to be announced, but Issues will be hitting the road with I Prevail later this month. Acord revealed they’ll be playing a new track on the road, writing not only will you get to hear it but also grab it on Flexi Disc in the VIP bundle.
