In the movie there’s a scene — Someone said on set that it’s the most blood that’s ever been in a horror film. In a scene,” Chastain says. “The next day, I was pulling blood out of my eyeballs — like, fake blood.”

During the rest of her appearance on the Tonight Show, Chastain discusses how Fallon “rescued her with a prop” during a Rangers game.

You can watch the part in the interview where Chastain reveals some enticing spoilers about It: Chapter Two below.

IT: Chapter Two, what we know so far:

Andy Muschietti will direct IT: Chapter Two. The sequel will focus on the adult version of the Losers’ Club return to Derry, Maine, 27 years later.

The cast includes Chastain as Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough and Bill Hader as Richie Tozier. Additionally, James Ransone will play Eddie Kaspbrak, Jay Ryan will play Ben Hanscom, Andy Bean will play Stan Uris and Isaiah Mustafa will play Mike Hanlon.

While the film will focus on the adult version of the club, that doesn’t mean the kids from the first film won’t make an appearance. As previously reported, the kids from the first film will appear in flashbacks during the sequel.

Additionally, Chapter Two will see the adults of the Loser’s Club tackling the strange ritual that involves the group biting each other’s tongues and laughing. Writer Gary Dauberman spilled the beans to CinemaBlend, saying:

“The Ritual of Chüd is challenging. But it’s such an important component to the book that we had to address it.”

Dauberman credits the creative bond between production members in overcoming the “difficult to balance” passage.

IT: Chapter Two comes to theaters September 6.
