In order to celebrate Halloween, New Line decided to share a minimalist teaser poster for the upcoming movie, IT: Chapter Two.

There’s nothing very telling of the new poster, besides the release date at the bottom of it, which is sure to signal that Pennywise will be coming back to the big screen to terrorize the Loser’s Club (and moviegoers) on Sept. 6, 2019.

Check out the poster below:

While the teaser poster doesn’t reveal anything, it is, however, a warning that our favorite dancing clown will be coming.

IT: Chapter Two, what we know so far:

It: Chapter Two, set to be directed by Andy Muschietti, will see the adult version of the Losers’ Club return to Derry, Maine, 27 years later to face Pennywise once again.

On June 25, it was announced that Teach Grant and Jess Weixler would be joining the cast of the IT sequel. Grant is set to play Henry Bowers, who was portrayed by Nicholas Hamilton in the first film, and Weixler will play Bill’s wife.

The two will be joining recently announced Xavier Dolan (The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan director,) who will be playing the role of Adrian Mellon and Will Beinbrink (Manhattan Night,) who is set to portray Tom Rogan.

We also know that the adult version of the Loser’s Club has been cast!

Jessica Chastain is set to play Beverly Marsh, James McAvoy will play Bill Denbrough, Bill Hader will take on the role of Richie Tozier, James Ransone will be Eddie Kaspbrak, Jay Ryan will play Ben Hanscom and Andy Bean will play Stan Uris and Isaiah Mustafa will play Mike Hanlon.

While the film will focus on the adult version of the club, that doesn’t mean the kids from the first film won’t make an appearance. As previously reported, the kids from the first film will appear in flashbacks during the sequel.

It was also reported that Chapter Two will see the adults of the Loser’s Club tackling the strange ritual that involves the group biting each other’s tongues and laughing. Writer Gary Dauberman spilled the beans to CinemaBlend, saying:

“The Ritual of Chüd is challenging,” he says, “but it’s such an important component to the book that we had to address it.” Dauberman credits the creative bond between production members in overcoming the “difficult to balance” passage.

In addition to the new and old versions of the club appearing in the film, we also know that Bill Skarsgård will be coming back to eat the children, uhm, adults, of the Loser’s Club.

It: Chapter 2, based on the Stephen King novel, will be in theaters Sept. 6, 2019!
