If the idea suits you, here's some good news: The Blu-ray DVD is out in Australia and users on Blu-ray.com confirmed there are 11 deleted or extended scenes, including an alternate opening and a hint at Chapter 2.

As if that isn't enough, Bloody Disgusting confirmed an Extended Cut of the movie is coming “in a few months.” The website got the information from director Andy Muschetti on Instagram on Dec. 19.

Bloody Disgusting are sharing some of the details given by user StrayButler91 about the deleted scenes, which include a Denbrough family dinner, Bill's dad looking for Pennywise in the basement and the Losers finding Georgie's walkie, as well as more minutes of the Neibolt house evacuation.

There's also an alternate ending, titled “Denbrough family vacation,” which shows Bill and his parents going on the family vacation. “As the car drives away, the camera pulls in to the drain where Georgie was taken,” StrayButler 91 wrote. “Camera stops, and rain starts to hit the pavement.” Could this shot be hinting at where the It sequel will begin?

Fans are also sharing on deleted scenes on Twitter. Watch some below:

And that alternate ending…

The movie DVD will be out Jan. 9, 2018 in the U.S. It: Chapter 2 will be released on Sep. 6, 2019. Variety reports that director Andy Muschietti and screenwriter Gary Dauberman will return to the sequel.

Muschietti revealed to Yahoo Movies during an interview what might happen on the movie. “Getting into that other dimension — the other side — was something that we could introduce in the second part,” the director stated.
