It looks like Asking Alexandria have started to record their new album

From the looks of an Instagram post by guitarist Ben Bruce, it seems Asking Alexandria have started to record their new album, (via The PRP).

The photo sees a smiling Sam Bettley, Asking Alexandria bassist, next to From First To Last's Matt Good, who may be producing the record.

“Matt Good just reassuring Mr. Bettley, the bombastic bassist, that everything he is laying down right now is in fact bombastic,” Bruce says in the caption.

The last we heard of the new album, Bruce said it was written and ready to be recorded.

“The whole album's written and is ready to be recorded properly,” Bruce says to Finland's Kaaos TV. “And then we have some huge touring opportunities in the works that we are working on right now, so it's going to be exciting.”

In a separate interview from February, Danny Worsnop predicted the new Asking Alexandria record wouldn't come this year. At that point, Worsnop had not stepped in the studio yet.

Worsnop continued by saying this was the first time he's been fully involved with writing since the first record. He emphasizes that when the new music comes, it will be heavy.

He also mentioned that the band do not want to play any songs from the Asking Alexandria album recorded with former singer Denis Stoff, The Black.

Back before Worsnop reunited with Asking Alexandria in October, he was in the studio with Bruce and Good, confirmed by tweets and Instagram posts.
