It looks like Winona Ryder is in for 'Beetlejuice' sequel

While rumors have been floating around for a few decades now, official talk of a Beetlejuice sequel is more real now than it has ever been.

In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, actress Winona Ryder dropped a serious quote on discussion surrounding the film, by saying, “As far as I know, it's gonna' happen.”

In December, original Beetlejuice director Tim Burton confirmed that there would be a sequel in the future. When asked whether or not Winona Ryder would be returning for a role, he reassuringly stated, “Oh yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Oh yeah, oh yeah. Yeah yeah, oh yeah.”

It is also worth noting that, according to MTV, writer Seth Grahame-Smith has been working on a script for the film since at least 2012.
