The data found that older listeneners—a huge 70%—downloaded their music opposed to streaming it on a platform like Spotify or Pandora. Around 60% of younger consumers surveyed downloaded their music, but 63% streamed it.

As we've reported before, Spotify still leads Apple Music with paid subscribers—40 million to 17 million.
