In Raising Trump, a memoir written by Ivanka's mother Ivana Trump, Ivanka details her ‘90s punk phase. “I was really into Nirvana,” she writes. “My wardrobe consisted of ripped corduroy jeans and flannel shirts. One day after school, I dyed my hair blue. Mom wasn’t a fan of this decision.”

Which is actually somewhat relatable?

“She took one look at me and immediately went out to the nearest drugstore to buy a $10 box of Nice’ n Easy. That night she forced me to dye my hair back to blond. The color she picked out was actually three shades lighter than my natural color … and I have never looked back!”

She even details more about the 24-hours following Kurt Cobain’s death, where she was “crying inconsolably in her room, alone” saying that she was in shock and distraught over the happenings, and her mom didn’t really understand and made her go down for dinner after her bedroom mourning seclusion.

While this is the last thing we thought we’d read today, we are wondering what to think… What are your thoughts? Do you think Ivanka truly had a punk phase? Let us know in the comments below.
