Jack Black teases 'Jumanji 3' character evolution for Ruby Roundhouse

Jumanji 3, the currently untitled sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, is slated to hit theaters in December of 2019. Currently in filming, not much is actually known about the upcoming movie. Fortunately, Jack Black is here to give us a tiny hint as to what may be in store for one of our favorite Jumanji characters.

During a break from filming, Jack Black (Professor Sheldon Oberon) and co-star Karen Gillan (Ruby Roundhouse) sat down to play Crash Bandicoot for Black’s Jablinski Games YouTube channel.

Still in their characters’ avatar costumes, Black does his best to get Gillan to spill the plot for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame film, in which Gillan stars as Nebula.

And he ALMOST succeeded.

We were so, so close.

While we may not get any insight to the upcoming Marvel film, Black does tease a small bit of info as to what may be in store for Gillan’s Ruby Roundhouse character.

“Also, I should say that Karen is kicking ass in the new Jumanji. Your character has evolved and now you’ve got more stuff and rad stuff to do this time. I can’t say what, because that would be spoiler alerts.”

We’re intrigued…

You can check out the full video below, with the Jablinski interview beginning at the 10:38 mark.

Jumanji 3 is expected to bring back majority of the cast from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, including Nick Jonas.

The sequel has also reportedly added Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, and Dania Ramirez as well.

Currently, Jumanji 3 is expected to hit theaters on December 13, 2019.
