Since its release in August, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s megahit “WAP” has truly taken over the internet. In fact, it has become such a cultural phenomenon that the video’s choreography has inspired a new viral dance challenge. This week, the multi-talented Jack Black decided to show off his dancing chops and take part in the new viral challenge.
His attempt, as you’d probably expect, went down exactly as we all hoped it would.
Although “WAP” has been at the center of controversy following comments from both Tiger King star Carole Baskin and British comedian Russell Brand, the latest collab is still one of the biggest songs of 2020.
The lavish video for the Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion collab quickly sparked a new dance challenge on TikTok and social media. The now-viral challenge shows individuals taking part in the difficult, yet truly iconic, choreography that appears in the video.
Now, Jack Black has decided to join in on the challenge in a truly hilarious video we didn’t know we needed until now. Over the weekend, he shared his own attempt at the “WAP” dance while wearing a tight red Speedo and getting drenched with hose water. The video includes twerking, high kicks and some other interesting dance interpretations while the popular song plays over the footage.

Black’s “WAP” dance attempt is clearly starting the week off on a lighter note. In fact, his post has received various reactions from some familiar faces. Marvel stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner, Public Enemy, Beck and actress Naomi Watts are just a few of the individuals to leave comments on his latest video.
Back in July, Black posted another video that has since gone viral. The actor, musician and comedian took part in a heartwarming coronavirus PSA where he reprised his iconic Nacho Libre persona.
As well, over the past few months, Black has shared other hilarious videos of him doing back flops into the pool and even cutting off all of his hair while Selena Gomez‘s “Lose You To Love Me” plays in the background.
