Japanese Breakfast perform “Slide Tackle” on The Late Late Show—watch

Japanese Breakfast recently performed “Slide Tackle” on The Late Late Show With James Corden. Multihyphenate musician Michelle Zauner also had a “Bar Chat” with Corden following the performance.

“Slide Tackle” comes off Japanese Breakfast‘s 2021 album, JubileeThe band have received nods for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Zauner talked about her reaction to the Grammy nominations, as well as previously working as a coat check at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — where she went on to sell out five shows — in a “Bar Chat” with Corden.

Japanese Breakfast are set to perform at Coachella this spring. The band will play the Saturday performances April 16 and 23 alongside Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
