Is Jared Leto teasing Joker return after leaked 'Birds Of Prey' photos?

Just last month we were given a sneak peek at the upcoming Birds Of Prey with some leaked photos suggesting that Harley Quinn and Joker’s relationship was really over. Now, new photos have surfaced showing Quinn being kicked out by the Joker just as Jared Leto teases his possible return.

Margot Robbie made her Harley Quinn debut in 2016’s Suicide Squad opposite Jared Leto’s interpretation of the Joker. We’re a little more than a year out from the upcoming Suicide Squad spin-off, but now even more clues have been leaked from set.

Not a whole lot is known about the spin-off, with fans still wondering if Leto would be making an appearance as the Prince of Crime in the upcoming film.

Recently leaked photos show the Joker kicking Quinn to the curb, tossing her belongings outside a second story window. However, it’s still unclear if Leto is the one fulfilling the role.

While Leto has not been confirmed, he did take to Snapchat to share a memory of a clown emjoi.

The film’s synopsis reads, “After splitting up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes—Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya—come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord.”

Back in April, we learned Cathy Yan signed on to direct. Robbie’s own LuckyChap will be producing the flick, with Sue Kroll of Kroll & Co Entertainment and Bryan Unkeless of Clubhouse Pictures.

Shortly after the director reveal, Suicide Squad’s sequel was delayed in order to focus on Birds Of Prey with the release date being revealed just last month.

It wasn’t long before a Birds Of Prey teaser hit the web. The video offers up a better look at the cast, which includes Quinn (Robbie), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), Black Mask (Ewan McGregor), Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina) and Gotham City police detective Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez).

Birds Of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn) hits theaters Feb. 7, 2020.
