We can’t wait to see Leto bring this living-vampire to life.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news regarding Sony’s next endeavor into the Marvel Universe.

Venom proved to be quite the success for Sony, pulling in an incredible $855 million on a $100 million budget.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse even managed to snag an Oscar, opening up a whole new world of opportunities for the franchise.

While we eagerly await Spider-Man: Far From Home, we can now look forward to Morbius paving the way for future Spider-Man spinoffs.

It has not yet been revealed if Morbius will push for the R-rating, considering Venom ended up being PG-13.

Producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach spoke with comicbook.com about rating Sony films.

“I don’t think there’s a rule written somewhere in stone that all of them have to be one thing,” Tolmach shares. “I think we’ve all talked about, ‘Well, if one of these presents itself in a way…’ Look, we have all seen, as you’ve said, the R-rated versions of these movies now working. So, that’s out there. You can succeed to a staggering degree.”

Arad adds, “We couldn’t have done Suicide Squad PG-13. Just language, or Deadpool, just language. On language alone, which is obscene. There’s no parent out there, that doesn’t look at their kid, ‘Shut the f-ck up.’ So, it’s not like it’s going to be a shocking situation for them, but if we can make it more accessible because people love the Marvel characters.”
