Jared Leto to star in 'Spider-Man' spinoff movies
Jared Leto will star in upcoming Spider-Man spinoff movies.

The Thirty Seconds To Mars frontman will play Michael Morbius, a vampire who first appeared in the comic books as one of Spider-Man’s enemies, Comicbook.com reports.
Per Comicbook.com, Leto’s character is a scientist in search of a cure to his rare blood disease in the Marvel Comics universe. One of his experiments ends up giving him vampire characteristics, such as thirst for blood and aversion to sunlight. However, because he tries to control his impulses, Morbius only bites and feeds on criminals.
The actor also shared the news on Instagram, posting a picture of a Morbius The Living Vampire comicbook cover.
Leto will certainly keep busy in the next few months. The actor is also set to star in two movies about his Suicide Squad character. One Joker spinoff is reportedly an origin story, while the details about the other have yet to be revealed.
