Listen to members of Suicide Silence and Jinjer link up for a Nirvana cover

While it’s going to be a long time before the Jinjer tour with Suicide Silence actually happens, some of the members of both bands are linking up for a virtual cover of Nirvana‘s “Territorial Pissings.”

Jinjer frontwoman Tatiana Shmailyuk and bassist Eugene Abdiukhanov paired with Suicide Silence’s Alex Lopez who handled both drums and guitars for the cover.

While Lopez is more recognizable manning the drum kit, he’s clearly showing some excitement about getting to bust out his guitar. He shared a post about the collab where he expresses how excited he was to bust out his Fender Jag-Stang which is notably the guitar shape Kurt Cobain created the idea for.

You can check out the cover below.

Suicide Silence and Jinjer were kicking off a tour together with Toothgrinder on April 23 which they obviously ended up postponing over the ongoing pandemic. New dates are in the works but as of yet, they are not announcing them.
