Joan Jett will play Ronda Rousey to the ring at WrestleMania 35

She don’t give a damn about her bad reputation – and why should she? It’s gotten her this far!

Rock legend Joan Jett will be heading to MetLife Stadium during April’s upcoming WrestleMania 35 event to play Ronda Rousey to the ring. That’s how you know you’ve made it, after all, when you get veritable rock royalty to play music just for you!

Rousey is taking part in a historic Raw Women’s Championship main event match, which Jett is poised to play a live performance of “Bad Reputation” alongside.

Joan Jett will play Ronda Rousey to the ring at WrestleMania 35 as Rousey makes her way to the stage, which might be one of the coolest things anyone has ever gotten to do. Imagine strutting along to a main wrestling event (or any event, for that matter) to a live rendition of “Bad Reputation,” because that automatically makes you at least 10% cooler at any given moment in time.

Previously, Jett spoke to wrestler CM Punk about Rousey using “Bad Reputation” as her entrance music during an interview with aXS TV.

“I’m really amazed when people utilize our music to represent them in something that they do, so I thought it was so great that she walks out to ‘Bad Reputation,'” Jett says.

We haven’t heard about other wrestling stars having any live accompaniments just yet, but it certainly seems like one of those awesome perks you get as a performer. We hope Rousey appreciates being played out to a classic hit with one of the most rebellious spirits out there as she descends upon her opponent. And given that Rousey is playing Sonya Blade in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11, she’s got to keep that rebellious spirit going.
