Jonas Brothers return Post Malone lyric shoutout in new single

The Jonas Brothers may be bringing back memories of the Disney Channel days, but they’re packing plenty of modern references in their latest single, including a shoutout to Post Malone.

Fitting the name of the new track perfectly, the guys roll through beach settings and perform in front of retirees while smoothly singing about feeling “Cool.”

The new track follows their big return with “Sucker” last month, which we apparently can thank Mark Hoppus for making a reality.

They must be riding high ahead of the latest single, singing “Oh, I feel like Post Malone when I get home.”

The brothers may be returning the favor for Posty’s own shoutout last year, where the singer mentions “rollin’ with my brothers like it’s Jonas, Jonas” in “Better Now.”

Nick and Joe appreciated the gesture, tweeting a response shortly after the album’s release.

“Shout out to @postmalone on the new record and the Jonas Bros love. ???,” the tweet reads.

Joe also may have scored some points with his fiancé, Sophie Turner, putting “‘sittin’ there, winning like it’s Game Of Thrones’” in the lyrics.

Many are ecstatic to see the former Disney darlings back in action, but some might have been ahead of the curve with the reunion.

Almost a year ago, State Champs bassist Ryan Scott Graham actually predicted their return. Additionally, Graham suggested that the brothers would take their band out on tour with them.

“When The Jonas Brothers finally do a reunion tour, they will most definitely take out State Champs,” Graham says in a tweet. “I’m speaking it into existence now. Nick [Jonas] and I will be good friends. He seems nice.”

The jury’s still out on whether or not State Champs will be hopping on the reunion tour, but it wouldn’t be the first time the Jonas Brothers flirted with the pop-punk scene.
