Watch QOTSA's Joshua Homme read a bedtime story with his stuffed dragon

Queens of the Stone Age's frontman Joshua Homme may be a badass rocker, but he's also got a heart of gold, as he proved during his CBeebies bedtime story

The QOTSA member's segment aired on the BBC via CBeebies on Oct. 6, and it's now available online via the BBC iPlayer for you to view in its entirety. It's also so stinkin' cute you'll probably want to go and pick up a copy of the book to read to your own munchkins. 

“Do you like dragons? I love dragons. Especially good dragons,” Homme said softly with a toothy grin. Together with his stuffed dragon Snoop-Bob Meatball, he read the children's book Zog, all about a heroic dragon “who's learning to be the best that he can be.” The book, from Julia Donaldson, is available for purchase on Amazon right now. 

CBeebies Bedtime Stories has played host to celebrities like Tom Hardy, Chris Evans, and several others since its inception, and Homme is the latest in a long The appearance is a striking departure from Homme's role as the velvet-tongued lead singer's normal fare, but it sure is cute to see him let his inner dad out once in a while.
