3. Surprises unveil new music video

Brooks Paschal (Sullivan) released a new single and music video under Surprises. “Natural Disaster” is the first single and title track of his upcoming solo album. The video was completely DIY, with some footage being shot on Paschal’s phone. “The challenge with the video was that I knew that I couldn’t sync four TVs at once,” he says. “So I shot them individually, then used a $3 phone app to splice the four shots together. It looked amazing, but the app wouldn’t render HD, so I had a good buddy of mine splice it on real editing software.” Natural Disasters will drop May 31 and is available to preorder here.

I talk about unity, name checking a lot of places around the world to create this picture of humanity because in our current political climate, we are constantly being made to see different people as ‘other,’ and I hate that.” Preorders for the album are available here.
