Hear Yellowcard and Juice WRLD’s hits collide in another mashup

While the lawsuit between Yellowcard and Juice WRLD‘s estate is on pause again, it gives us time to really celebrate the late rapper in all of his talents. We’re still waiting on the many posthumous songs Juice WRLD has to be released into the world so for now, mashups and other cuts of his songs will tide us over.

Of course, given the history between the Yellowcard and the late rapper, it makes sense that people would make mashups of their songs. YouTuber Call It Clarity did just that with Yellowcard’s “Ocean Avenue” and Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams.”

Juice WRLD rose to recognition with breakout single “Lucid Dreams” in 2018, a track first released on SoundCloud in 2017. It debuted at No. 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 2. “Lucid Dreams” later appeared on his debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance, which released in May 2018.

Juice WRLD tragically passed away last December after he deplaned from a private jet traveling from California to his hometown of Chicago. Once landing at Chicago Midway International Airport, witnesses reported he suffered a seizure while walking through the airport. TMZ reports he was “bleeding from the mouth” when paramedics arrived.

His family and friends have come forward saying they plan to posthumously release a vast number of songs that Juice WRLD had recorded.

Recently, we got a taste of the solo work from the rapper’s girlfriend, Ally Lotti. Lotti revealed a snippet of a new track on her Instagram account.

The two were dating for several months prior to Juice WRLD’s passing with him frequently posting about how she was one of his biggest sources of happiness.

Just two weeks ago, we received a new collaboration from the rapper with Jamaican producer Rvssian and Anuel’s called “No Me Ame.”

The collab also has a music video which features footage of Juice WRLD with a pair of angel wings as he raps his verses.

Juice WRLD always spoke about his love for rock and metal saying it stemmed from a crush he had in grade school loving Black Veil Brides

Now, given the whole situation, someone has decided to mash the two together.

This isn’t the first time either. Back in December, a different YouTuber mashed up the two songs involved in the lawsuit being “Lucid Dreams” and “Holly Wood Died.”

We get a bit of a different taste now. This new mashup is a combination of Yellowcard’s biggest hit “Ocean Avenue” mashed with “Lucid Dreams.”

Check it out below.
