The unofficially titled Jumanji 3 is expected to bring back majority of the cast from Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, including Nick Jonas, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart.

The sequel has also reportedly added Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, and Dania Ramirez as well.

While we’re still pretty in the dark when it comes to the film’s details, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has provided fans with an official first look at our favorite in-game avatars .

“Yes you’re favorite band is back ~ lookin’ lean (ish) and mean,” Johnson writes on Instagram. “Even though things may not be as they seem ? So buckle up world because soon we’ll all play, When a brand NEW JUMANJI drops this Holiday! Oh the fun you’re gonna have.

We can’t wait!

Earlier this week, Jack Black gave us a tiny hint as to what may be in store for one of our favorite Jumanji characters.

During a break from filming, Jack Black (Professor Sheldon Oberon) and co-star Karen Gillan (Ruby Roundhouse) sat down to play Crash Bandicoot for Black’s Jablinski Games YouTube channel.

Still in their characters’ avatar costumes, Black does his best to get Gillan to spill the plot for the upcoming Avengers: Endgame film, in which Gillan stars as Nebula.

And he ALMOST succeeded.

While we may not get any insight to the upcoming Marvel film, Black does tease a small bit of info as to what may be in store for Gillan’s Ruby Roundhouse character.

“Also, I should say that Karen is kicking ass in the new Jumanji. Your character has evolved and now you’ve got more stuff and rad stuff to do this time. I can’t say what, because that would be spoiler alerts.”

You can check out the full video below, with Gillan’s interview beginning at the 10:38 mark.

Currently, Jumanji 3 is expected to hit theaters on December 13, 2019.

Are you excited for the next installment in the Jumanji universe? What do you think Ruby Roundhouse’s evolution could mean? Sound off in the comments below!
