Beyond the date, very little information is currently available this early on, but it has been said that Jurassic World's leads in Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will return to reprise their roles in the next film. Jurassic World's director, Colin Trevorrow, will co-write the screenplay with Derek Connolly but will not be directing the next installment of the franchise. Regarding Jurassic World's sequel, Trevorrow recently explained to BadTaste.it, “Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie. I would be involved in some way, but not as director.”
