Kanye West may have inspired Jordan Peele to do 'Get Out 2'

Well, it looks like we might just be getting a Get Out sequel after all, and it’s surprisingly all thanks to Kanye West.

On Wednesday morning, the rapper shared a picture of one of the hallways in his home with the caption: “Do this look like the sunken place?” The tweet is in reference to the mental state that Missy Armitage (Catherine Keener) sends people to when she hypnotizes them, and later imprisons them, in the 2017 horror-hit Get Out.

Jordan Peele, who made his directorial debut with Get Out, soon responded to the rapper's tweet by qouting it and then adding a caption of his own, saying, “*Gets inspired. *Starts writing ‘Get Out 2.'”

While Peele may have been joking about writing a sequel to the movie just because of West's tweet, that doesn't mean the director hasn't thought about doing a follow-up movie.

In past interviews, Peele has shared that he has “seriously considered” doing another film, saying: “I love that universe and I feel like there is more story to tell. I don’t know what it is now, but there are some loose ends.”

We definitely wouldn't be upset if Peele decided to do a sequel.
