Kat Von D defends herself against “anti-semitic,” “anti-vaxxer” comments

Kat Von D has taken to YouTube to defend herself against controversial topics surrounding her that she says are causing people to harass her.

The tattoo artist and makeup mogul uploaded a video to her channel titled “I am NOT a nazi. I am NOT anti-vaxx.”

The video started with her addressing the comments people have made about her anti-semitic.

“I think out of every comment that I’ve gotten, the ones that are calling me and my family ‘nazis,’ those are the ones that really just don’t sit well with me,” she said. “If anything, they’re extremely offensive and super hurtful.”

She told a story about when she was on Miami Ink and a jealous cast member harassed her so badly that it made her quit the show. She was such a hit that the network wanted her to start L.A. Ink, which only made the cast member more jealous.

She claims this cast member forged an anti-semitic letter and made it look like it came from Von D. He tried to get her show canceled by using this information.

“I had no idea how to handle it or what to do,” she said. “It was really hard to have people out there in the world believe something that wasn’t.”

She added that she realizes she should have addressed the issue in the past, but she didn’t have the support she has now in her life.

Von D also addressed the drama surrounding her being accused of being against vaccines.

It all started when she posted a since-deleted Instagram about raising a vegan baby “without vaccinations” while she was still pregnant. She received a ton of backlash online.

She now says she’s not an “anti-vaxxer” but just a “first-time mother.”

“I am choosing not to make our decision or any of our baby’s health records public,” Von D said.
