ETID's Keith Buckley to Trump supports and bigots: "my band doesn’t need you"
Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley has always been vocal about his beliefs, and it doesn’t appear that risking the loss of a fan or two has phased the frontman in sharing his thoughts.

The ETID vocalist recently shared a tweet about his relief of not seeing any Warped attendees wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ hats during the band’s time on the Vans Warped Tour.
on a personal note, with over half a million tickets sold to Warped this year, I didn’t see a SINGLE maga hat. and I looked. say what you will about the bands playing, you can’t deny that the kids of summer are gonna be okay

As with most things coming from the internet, the tweet from Buckley had a mixed reaction from his followers.
With some agreeing, and praising the frontman’s observation, some of his more conservative followers didn’t seem too thrilled of Buckley’s personal note. Especially for one fan in particular, who had this exchange with Buckley:
After the exchange, Buckley shared his final thoughts on the matter, where he let it be known that his band “doesn’t need” supporters that uphold such negative viewpoints.
at what point in my 25 year involvement with a socially conscious hardcore/punk scene did I give anyone the impression that I would pander to bigots? my band doesn’t need you. nobody does. smash nazis at every turn

Before officially going back to his “happier” Twitter moments, Buckley shared one final thought on the matter:
one more thing and then I promise I’ll go back to having fun online: A RACIST *CHOOSING* TO MAKE THEIR PRESENCE KNOWN AT A HARDCORE SHOW IS AN ACT OF AGGRESSION IN ITSELF. until that moment, it’s all love. after, not so much.

After concluding the Twitter exchange, Buckley got some back up from Ice T:
Keith has the right attitude about fans… I love you all.. But if you ever have a problem with me.. Please feel free to leave…. https://t.co/ClJFp6F303

As we know, this isn’t the first time the frontman has brought forth his views on important matters to the forefront of his social media. A few weeks ago, Buckley took to Twitter to share his opposition of a billboard, which prompted him to call for a stronger stance for civility.
