Keith Flint honored with Papa Roach cover of The Prodigy track
Papa Roach have paid tribute to the late Keith Flint by covering “Firestarter” during Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival.
The Prodigy were set to perform at the festival, but Papa Roach replaced their spot since Flint’s death in March.

“We’re honored to step in for our brothers in The Prodigy at Sonic Temple on Saturday night,” Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix said when the replacement was announced. “They are such an influential band for us. We’re gonna celebrate, it’s gonna be a great night. We love you guys and we can’t wait to see you out there.”
“This one’s for you, Keith,” Shaddix said before the band started the song.

Flint was found dead in his Essex home March 4. At the time, it was reported as an apparent suicide due to the nature of his untimely passing.
The postmortem examination found traces of cocaine, alcohol and codeine in the late singer’s system and again confirmed the cause of death as a hanging, according to a Guardian report.
Earlier this month, the coroner’s report unveiled that the singer’s death cannot be ruled a suicide, recording an open conclusion on his death.
Essex Senior Coroner Caroline Beasley-Murray says there isn’t enough evidence to deem the death a suicide, saying we will “never quite know” the details of Flint’s passing.
“I’ve considered suicide,” Beasley-Murray says. “To record that, I would have to have found that, on the balance of probabilities, Mr. Flint formed the idea and took a deliberate action knowing it would result in his death. Having regard to all the circumstances, I don’t find that there’s enough evidence for that.”
Flint’s bandmates shared a message on Twitter to fans and anyone else struggling with mental health issues, urging them to seek help if needed.
“It has been a tough time for everyone over the last few weeks since Keef’s passing. If you are struggling with depression, addiction or the impact of suicide, please do not suffer in silence. The Prodigy fully support the campaign to improve mental health for all… (1/2),” the tweet reads.
