Debate star Ken Bone says his favorite band is Radiohead

The rise to unexpected stardom for Kenneth Bone has been nothing short of a journey already, and it hasn’t even been a week since he asked his energy question at the country’s second Presidential Debate. Things spiraled from there after he claimed on CNN the next day that his red sweater was his backup outfit after he ripped a hole in his suit pants before the debate.

In a few short days as a viral topic, the internet included Ken Bone into everything they could think of. Thousands of memes and Bone-inspired novelties became a craze, including the sweater he wore (which sold out immediately), socks with his face on it and the questionable “sexy Ken Bone” Halloween costume.

Countless personalities have reached out to Ken Bone on Twitter and other mediums, and he’s even had his appearances on numerous networks following his debate performance. And with some digging, people have been able to learn a lot of things about Mr. Bone, some good, and some, not so much so. There was even one report that he was previously a drummer in a Christian rock cover band. Seems fitting.

He’s become so popular, that Reddit even decided to give him his own Reddit AMA. One of the good things about K.B. that the Internet seemed very satisfied with was when he revealed his favorite band of all time was Radiohead. When asked by a Redditor who some of his favorite musicians were, Bone replied saying:

As you can see by the points on both his answer and the thread in general, Ken Bone has been scoring some serious fans over the course of the week, some of which even say that they would elect him as president, even though he is not old enough as he repeatedly states. In Bone’s gem of an AMA, he also let the world know that for Halloween he will be going as “Obi Wan Kenboni,” he does not believe a hot dog is a sandwich and that he will not be able to smoke with Snoop Dogg.

With Ken Bone becoming another flash of “what’s going on” in this perplexing election year, we can safely say that his fate is in the hands of the Internet. His red sweater and mustache still make him pretty huggable right? Afterall, with a name like Ken Bone in the meme culture, it was love at first sight.
