Kid Rock's first campaign speech is painful, cringeworthy
After rumors surfaced of Kid Rock running for U.S. Senate, many began to wonder if it was simply a publicity stunt. With the launch of kidrockforsenate.com and a tweet from Kid Rock himself claiming the website was indeed real, people began to wonder if this run for U.S. Senate might be the real deal.
Kid Rock took his run for Senate one step further as he gave a sample of his “campaign speech” for fans at his concert, and it's pretty cringeworthy.

A podium appeared at Kid Rock's concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Wednesday, setting him up to give the crowd a small sampling of his painful campaign trail speech. He definitely crosses the line on the subject of single mothers, stating that we should “put their goddamned asses to work” while we “lock up all these women, who can’t even take care of themselves.”
While it seems Kid Rock still has not filed the appropriate paperwork to run, thus making him in violation of the U.S. election laws, it doesn't seem to be slowing him down any. In regards to those who are worked up over the idea of him being a U.S. Senator, the self-proclaimed “Pimp Of The Nation” had a few choice words.
“Kid Rock for Senate has got folks in disarray. Wait till they hear Kid Rock for president of the U.S.A.. ‘Cause wouldn’t it be a sight to see, President Kid Rock in Washington, D.C.. Standing on the Oval Office like a G. Holding my dick ready to address the whole country. I’ll look the nation dead in the eyes, live on TV, and simply tell them, you never met a motherfucker quite like me.”
