King 810 drop surprise, stripped-down EP 'Queen'—listen

Michigan metal act King 810 have self-released their five-song EP Queen, delivering tales of dissolution through haunting stripped-down arrangements.

Frontman David Gunn details the EP as “five slow songs about five fast women,” featuring graceful piano and swells of horns.

King 810 recently announced a live return to their hometown, to be held December 17. It'll be a special unplugged performance alongside a string quartet at Flint, MI’s Totem Books, and even though it's sold-out, it will be filmed.
