Slipknot have announced a new venue for Knotfest Los Angeles. The upcoming festival will take place at Banc of California Stadium Nov. 5.

Knotfest will feature performances from Bring Me The Horizon, Killswitch Engage, FEVER 333, Code Orange and Vended. The festival will also feature a guest appearance from Cherry Bombs.

The Nov. 5 event serves as the band’s first appearance at the 22,000-person capacity stadium. Tickets for the Los Angeles show will be available for presale to knotfest.com subscribers from 9 a.m. P.T. July 27, while general on-sale tickets begin July 30. You can find tickets to the Los Angeles dates when they’re available on the band’s website.

Knotfest will serve as one of the first chances for many headliners to perform the albums they recorded during COVID-19. That list includes Code Orange’s Underneath and Bring Me The Horizon’s POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR.

Knotfest 2019, which marked the last full run of the festival, saw some of the biggest crowds Slipknot had ever seen. Anticipation for the festival grew over the past year after metal fans were hit with the news of its cancellation. Although 2020’s online version was a success, seeing the festival in person is an unparalleled experience. Knotfest Iowa sold out so quickly that the event extended its capacity to accommodate more fans, so it’s best to get tickets as soon as possible.

The Los Angeles show takes place toward the end of Knotfest Roadshow after three months of touring. The Roadshow is a more stripped-down version of the event and will only feature Killswitch Engage, FEVER 333 and Code Orange alongside Slipknot. Fans who haven’t been to Knotfest before will certainly want to see the mind-bending event first-hand. According to a press release for the event, Knotfest is an experience that you won’t soon forget.

“Designed as an immersive, unforgettable, ‘dark carnival experience,’” the release says, “the event invites you into Slipknot’s apocalyptic underworld where stunning visuals, fire breathers and nightmarish creatures on stilts set the stage for an intoxicating and memorable weekend of live music.”

In addition to watching some of the most iconic and cutting-edge metal bands take to the stage after almost two years of postponement, attendees can also expect the return of the highly praised Slipknot Museum. Attendees will also be able to sample the band’s custom small-batch whiskey, Slipknot No. 9.

The tour and festival also commemorate the 20th anniversary of Slipknot’s groundbreaking album Iowa. According to the press release, the museum will feature “a jaw-dropping collection of items specifically from this (in)famous period in the band’s history.” Later in the year, fans can expect a special commemorative drop featuring Iowa-related merchandise in addition to unreleased media from the transformative era.

Unfortunately, Slipknot still had to cancel a few events, such as the Knotfest At Sea cruise. Additionally, the band announced their intentions to cancel festival dates in Europe and postpone Knotfest Brazil to 2022 via Twitter.
