Jonathan Davis took to Facebook Live to reveal the solo album he's been working on is indeed coming next year, an album that has been in the works for nearly 10 years.

Davis tells fans the album was originally done for Jonathan Davis And The Simply Fucking Amazings, but after the passing of his solo band and Korn's guitarist Shane Gibson in 2014, Davis made the decision to release the album under his own name.

“I'm finishing my record finally” Davis says during his livestream. “It's been… I started it in 2008, so I guess it'll be 10 years of work. It's the J.D.S.F.A. [Jonathan Davis and the Simply Fucking Amazings] record, but J.D. S.F.A. is no longer. Unfortunately, since Shane's passed, that band's done and it can't be recreated. So this is J.D. right now … I'm really excited. I've been working on these songs for 10 years, and it's turned out amazing. So there'll be a record coming out next year. I just shot videos yesterday for a couple of songs, and the tour will be next year.”

Davis also touched on the launch of his clothing company 'Somber One' which is currently accepting pre-orders for the first 5,000 Collectors Edition Shirts/Hoodies. Orders will include a signed card from Davis himself with every purchase going to fuel the launch of the Spring 2018 collection.
