Korn have called off the majority of their May headlining shows, with only a few festival dates set to go ahead. Read their statement below.

The band announced on Friday that, due to “unforeseen circumstances,” most of the upcoming concerts will be rescheduled. They're still playing Carolina Rebellion on May 6, Pointfest on May 13 and Rock On The Range on May 20.

Korn recently recruited Tye Trujillo (Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo's 12-year-son) on bass for their South American tour, filling in for Korn's regular bassist, Fieldy. At that time, it was announced that Fieldy could not make those gigs—due to “unforeseen circumstances,” as well—but would be returning for the bands now-largely deferred May schedule.

Tickets to the cancelled dates will be honored at the rescheduled shows or may be refunded at the point of purchase.

Korn tour dates:

05/06 – Concord, NC @ Carolina Rebellion
05/13 – Maryland Heights, MO @ Pointfest
05/20 – Columbus, OH @ Rock On The Range
