As reported by TV Line, Bell said she and creator Rob Thomas were considering bringing Veronica Mars back as a “limited-series format” versus a feature film, with potential for a “half dozen hour-long episodes.”

“Kristen and I both want to figure out some way we could do a six-episode Veronica Mars mystery,” he previously said. “If I were a betting man, I bet that it will happen. I just don’t know when it will be.”

And in a new interview with Ryan Hansen (aka Dick Casablancas) via Indie Wire to promote his new YouTube Red series Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television, Hansen called Bell up to talk about the potential for a show reunion, and she said that they’re definitely going to find a way to make it happen.

“We are willing to put the effort in—I mean, if I have to do it as Murder She Wrote at 80, we’re going to do it,” Bell said. “It’s going to happen.”

While the plans are not ~technically~ official, if Veronica Mars herself says a reunion is going to happen, then that sure means a reunion has to happen, right?
