Days after debuting her brand new tattoo, fans were quick to note one massive mistake on Gaga’s ink.

Inspired by A Star Is Born, Gaga revealed her tattoo of music notes on a scale. Fans on Instagram noted that the required fifth line on the scale was missing.

Gaga soon deleted the post, fixing the mistake and later taking to Instagram to repost the adjusted version.

It didn’t take long for fans to dive into the meaning behind the tattoo, wondering how the notes were meant to be read.

Some noted that if you read the notes in treble clef they spell out G-A-G-A, which seems like the obvious answer.

BUT, others pointed out that reading them in bass clef gives you B-C-B-C, which could be a nod to Gaga’s co-star Bradley Cooper or her manager Bobby Campbell.

The plot thickens!

Some fans began digging in deep, wondering if there was a hidden message in there about Gaga’s next album.

Luckily, Gaga took to Twitter with a post that soon settled the debate.

Mystery solved!

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper reach major milestone

A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is a force of nature.

It won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Both actors are nominated for Best Actress/Actor and Best Original Song at the Oscars, which is the first time that’s happened in history.

Now, the film has just made even more history.

A Star Is Born is now the highest-grossing movie of all time that stars a musician. The movie passed the 1992 film The Bodyguard, directed by Mick Jackson and starring Whitney Houston.

Directed by Cooper, the film follows the story of an alcoholic country singer (Cooper) who falls for an unknown singer-songwriter (Gaga). This will be the third remake of the 1937 film, following the 1976 musical.

Sally Cummings, Marlon Williams Dave Chappelle, Anthony Ramos, Shangela and Halsey are all also in the film.
