Lil Aaron music video features MCR, Paramore, P!ATD clips

Lil Aaron just put out the best music video in recent history. After a long wait, the number one scene ally’s music video for “Studded Gucci Belt” features clips from iconic pop-punk, emo and rock videos.

Among the overwhelmingly nostalgic videos, viewers can point out clips from My Chemical Romance’s “Welcome To The Black Parade” and “I’m Not Okay,” Panic! At The Disco’s “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” Paramore’s “Misery Business,” blink182’s “Adam’s Song” and Good Charlotte’s “The Anthem.”

“Studded Gucci Belt” also includes appearances from 3OH!3, Avril Lavigne, Metro Station and many others.

However, Metro Station make their way into “Studded Gucci Belt” in other ways. The band’s song “Shake It” is sampled throughout the entirety of the track.

Director Sean Barrett filmed and edited the whole video. Beginning with a distorted clip from “Adams Song,” the video then transcends into a snippet from “Welcome To The Black Parade.” Then, Lil Aaron’s face floats inside the TV monitor in the patient’s room. The remainder of the video is spent bouncing from iconic bop to iconic bop.

Finally, to put a beautiful bow on the entire package, Lil Aaron’s genius erupted with a clip of Nardwuar talking to Travis Scott about keeping his pants up. Years prior, the interview went viral thanks to Scott’s response, “Belt.”
