Lil Nas X reveals rock chart debut with hilarious 'Avengers' photo

It felt like Lil Nas X became a sensation overnight after his song “Old Town Road” skyrocketed to viral fame. Soon after, he became the subject of backlash from country fans before Billy Ray Cyrus jumped on the remix of the track.

Lil Nas X doesn’t have too much to worry about though, securing spots on both the country and rap charts. Now, the 20-year-old can add another accomplishment to his list as he snags two spots on the Billboard rock charts!

The artist took to social media to share a hilarious Avengers-style photo to make the announcement to his fans.

The photo shows him donning the Infinity Gauntlet with three of the Infinity Stones labeled trap, country and rock.

Fans were elated by the news with many aiming for an EDM chart next.

Billboard revealed that “F9mily (You & Me)” debuted at No. 6 while “Bring U Down” ft. Ryan Tedder snagged the No. 7 spot.

Then, Post Malone came to defend the rapper. In an interview with TMZ, he discusses what’s going on with Lil Nas X.

“I think people should be able to fucking make whatever the hell they want to,” he said. “I feel like even now in modern country there’s a lot of 808s and shit anyways. … All the country artists now are rapping too. I don’t necessarily see the difference.”
