Lil Nas X remixes "Old Town Road" with Walmart yodeler Mason Ramsey

In true 2019 fashion, Lil Nas X has dropped a remix of the remix of his song “Old Town Road” with Billy Ray Cyrus, which now adds Young Thug and Mason Ramsey. 

Ramsey, who’s 12 years old, got famous after a video of him giving an impressive yodeling performance in the aisle of a Harrisburg, Illinois Walmart went viral.

In case you’ve never seen it, you can see the video below. 

Ramsey blew up, and even performed at Coachella in 2018. Now, he’s teamed up with Lil Nas X, Cyrus and Young Thug for the latest version of the hit song. 

Prior to the drop, the rapper was teasing fans he might drop another remix. He posted a photo of the cover with two additional horses and asked fans to guess who they represented. 

Then, he finally dropped the song. You can listen to the new version below.

It felt like Lil Nas X became a sensation overnight after his song “Old Town Road” skyrocketed to viral fame. Soon after, he became the subject of backlash from country fans before Billy Ray Cyrus jumped on the remix of the track.

Lil Nas X doesn’t have too much to worry about though, securing spots on both the country and rap charts. Now, the 20-year-old can add another accomplishment to his list as he snags two spots on the Billboard rock charts!

The artist took to social media to share a hilarious Avengers-style photo to make the announcement to his fans.

The photo shows him donning the Infinity Gauntlet with three of the Infinity Stones labeled trap, country and rock.
