Lil Uzi Vert set to play festival despite quitting music

Lil Uzi Vert fans were lost when the XO tour Llif3 rapper announced he quit music and deleted everything.

However, he’s been announced to play at a festival and we are at a loss about what this means for the future.

The lineup for Rolling Loud festival in Miami has been announced, and Lil Uzi Vert made the list. Pretty strange for someone who wanted to go back to being “normal” thanks to problems with his label.

This announcement only makes us further suspect that Lil Uzi Vert’s proclamation of being done with music is just a publicity stunt to promote his forthcoming album. Let’s hope that that’s the case and he didn’t actually just trash the entire thing.

Eternal Atake would have been Lil Uzi Vert’s follow-up album to his 2017 Luv Is Rage 2. The album did not have a set release date but was set to drop in 2019.

Lil Uzi Vert is scheduled to play the third day of the festival alongside acts like Kid Cudi, Lil Pump, Gucci Mane and more. Aside from Kid Cudi, Migos and Travis Scott also headline the festival set to take place May 10-12. The festival takes place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Other artists performing at the festival include Cardi B, Juice WRLD and Lil Wayne. Soulja Boy, Rick Ross, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Yachty and many more are also schedule to perform.

Check out the full lineup for the festival below and tickets go on sale Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. EST.
