Juliet Simms is gone, and Lilith Czar is taking the throne with "King"–watch

If you search for Juliet Simms on social media, she’s no longer there.

The last trace we saw of Simms as an artist was at the end of her “All American” music video, where she was chased into a corner and “died” a fiery death. Though, Lilith Czar (her alter ego) assured us, “The end is the beginning…” back in December.

Czar let all of her followers know that there’s new music on the way after tweeting, “Juliet Simms is gone, Lilith Czar has risen.”

Czar dropped her first track “King” from the project, and it’s the exact type of hard-rock, patriarchy-stomping empowerment song you need right now.

In the haunting new music video, viewers can see different aesthetics from the singer as she ventures across dusty mountain tops all the way to reading tarot cards. The overall vibe is witchy AF, and that’s something the scene can always admire.

In her lyrics, Czar proves what it means to be a badass woman who takes zero shit from anyone who may think less of her.

“Call me the weaker sex so you can sleep,” she sings about all the men who doubt women.

Perhaps one of the best lines in the song worthy of a tattoo is, “Who’s to say a woman can’t think with her dick?”

In her chorus, Czar seductively demands, “If it’s a man’s world, I want to be king.”

This sentiment is echoed in the origin story of this new musical endeavor: “When you find yourself beaten down by the world, in those times you can either let it destroy you or let it create you,” Czar said.

In releasing this song, the artist shares how she found herself and hopes you do, too. She explained, “I’ve found my purpose, creating art to inspire others to stand up for what they believe, to fight for their dreams, and to never give up.”

The new single isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to this year, though. The dynamic artist, now known as Lilith Czar, also announced that her new album, Created From Filth And Dust, will be available April 23 via Sumerian Records. Preorders are for the 12-track forthcoming LP are available here.
