Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda says we can expect "announcements this week"

Many have wondered what the future holds for Linkin Park after the tragic suicide of vocalist Chester Bennington this past July. Today, Mike Shinoda took to social media to give fans a little bit of insight.

Shinoda posted a selfie on Instagram today after a little over two weeks of no activity, telling fans to expect some announcements this week.

“Good morning. I'm on a bit of a social media diet. Watching not talking. Stay tuned for some announcements this week.”

Many believe the announcement will involve further details about the special event Linkin Park are planning to honor Bennington.
