Disney has been taking all of our classics and bringing them to the big screen in a new live action format. They've already done it to Cinderella and Tarzan and most recently Beauty and The Beast, but The Hollywood Reporter has just reported that Snow White will be readapted to a live action format.

Erin Cressida Wilson is currently in talks to write the screenplay for the musical. Wilson was the screenwriter for The Girl on the Train which came out earlier in the year.

It was also announced that the musical will feature new music that wasn't in the original animated version. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are writing the music for the adapation. Pasek and Paul wrote the music for the musical adapation for James and The Giant Peach.

The original animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came out nearly eighty years ago, which turned Disney into the film company it is today. It took the world by storm and showed the world that animation could be used to make feature films.

With years of speculation ahead of us, it's not too early to ask, who would you want to see play Snow White? Let us know in the comments!
