LØLØ's stuck in bed in “THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!” video—watch
LØLØ is back with her new single, “THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!,” released via Hopeless Records. The track is accompanied by a music video where LØLØ is trapped in her bedroom.
“THE FLOOR IS LAVA!!” sees LØLØ frustrated with her anxiety. However, the song maintains a gentle tone even as she laments her inability to leave her house. Its calm nature almost leads listeners to believe that she’s accepted this pain as her fate. However, during the chorus, LØLØ bares her irritation.

LØLØ revealed her inspiration for writing the song in a press release.
“I wrote this song about experiencing crippling anxiety. That feeling when you really wanna get out of bed, but you just can’t move,” LØLØ says. “I used to play The Floor Is Lava game as a kid, but as I got older, I started to feel like the floor actually was lava. I felt so stuck in my own head and body and didn’t know why. I wrote this song to let out all those feelings.”
