‘Love, Simon’ series reportedly headed to Disney+ streaming service
Love, Simon fans are in for a treat of a TV series based on the hit film.
The film, which was based off the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda, is set to hit Disney’s streaming service, Disney+.

In case you forgot or have never seen it, the film is a teen film surrounding an gay boy named Simon (Nick Robinson) who is dealing with coming out and falling in love. The film also stars Jennifer Garner, Josh Duhamel, Katherine Langford and Alexandra Shipp. You can see the trailer below.
The film also won the GLAAD award for Best Feature Film.
The film was directed by Greg Berlanti, but Variety reports he will not be involved with the TV adaptation because of his deal with Warner Bros.
Besides the soundtrack of the film being pretty killer (including The 1975), the film made several references to Panic! At The Disco and Brendon Urie. Simon’s bedroom is covered with P!ATD posters and Simon even says he realized he was gay because of Urie. You can see a video of all the times P!ATD is referenced below.

Also, Urie commented on the film saying it “made him cry” and that it was a “beautiful film.”
Hopefully the series will continue with the Panic! Love.

In other news, Disney’s upcoming streaming platform is also making a Monsters Inc. spinoff series with many of the original voice actors.
