The original Luke Skywalker, Mark Hamill recently quoted Ariana Grande’s song and forthcoming album thank u, next. Obviously, Grande reacted in the only appropriate way to one of the leading lads of the Rebel Alliance recognizing her as an artist: She geeked out.

Today, Hamill accidentally quoted everyone’s favorite force of nature. In a tweet, the Star Wars icon said, ““Thank you, next” #TwitterTest4Twits.”

It didn’t take long for Grande to catch wind of the magical moment.

Hamill then admitted that the quote wasn’t intentional. However, Grande didn’t seem to mind all that much.

You know you’re out of it when someone suggests you tweet what you think is just a random phrase that turns out to be the title of the new album by @ArianaGrande, one of the most popular artists in the history of showbiz,” Hamill says.

The singer went on to quote-tweet a fan who was in just as much disbelief as she was.

Imagine getting called “one of the most popular artists in the history of showbiz” by Luke Skywalker,” the fan says.

In addition to Star Wars, Hamill is famous for voice acting as the Joker and other characters in various animated projects.
