Lush unveils NSFW bath bomb, just in time for Valentine’s Day

Cruelty-free bath company Lush has begun teasing their Valentine’s Day collection. However, their latest bath bomb reveal suggests that you might not want to use it to say “Happy V-Day!” to your parents.

Lush shared a photo of the borderline NSFW emoji-themed bath bomb to their Instagram yesterday. The bath bomb takes on the form of its suggestive emoji counterpart: the eggplant.

While the collection is currently “Out of Stock” online, it will officially be made available on the Lush website later this week on Jan. 7. Bath-lovers can expect to see the eggplant bath bomb and the rest of the special collection in stores Jan. 11.

“We’re going into 2019 with big ? energy,” the company says in the Instagram post. “Try not to get all hot n’ bothered.”

Check out the bath bomb’s description below.

“When words fail us, emojis save the day. So if you’re struggling to find the right words for your Valentine this year, this fab fizzer will say it all! Deep purple waters with streams of green and blue set the scene, while uplifting bergamot, ho wood and zippy litsea cubeba keep their energy soaring.”

Other Valentine’s Day-related items include a peach-shaped bath bomb, a “Love Boat” bath bomb and various fun shower gels and body conditioners.

This is not the first time Lush has released interestingly-shaped bath products. In the past, the company released a bubble bar that unintentionally looked like a pentagram. Additionally, they released the most perfect Halloween-themed collection last October.
